I haven’t had time to post on the ol’ blog lately, but if you follow me on Instagram you may have already seen this picture.
On September 2nd we were driving down the road and the kiddos started “oooo-ing” and “ahhh-ing” and telling me they could see an upside down rainbow in the sky. I wanted to see what the heck they were talking about so I pulled over, and sure enough, a freakin’ upside down rainbow! There was also a circle around the sun.
I did some research and found out that the rainbow is called a circumzenithal arc and is caused by ice crystals in the air.
It’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen!
Oh yes good capture never seen an upside down one before heheh!
Have a rainbowtastic day 🙂
