We all have lessons we live by, some that have been passed down from generation to generation.
The "My All-Star Daughter" video tells the story of parents' never-ending dedication toward their daughter and how they go the extra mile to help perpetuate and empower her to follow her passion.
As a parent myself, I know that going that extra mile isn't always easy. It's certainly worth it though to see that smile on my daughter's face when she's able to do something she's passionate about. So, Hubby and I always try to encourage our girls to pursue their passions, and as parents, we do whatever we can to help.
Even though my girls are both young, and their goals and aspirations change often, I still think it's important to encourage them every step of the way. They can be absolutely anything they want to be when they grow up and we want to make sure that we've done everything in our power to ensure they know that. That's just one way we try to keep the good going in our family.

I try to inspire my children by doing myself. Showing them that nothing is impossible if you try or want it enough!

I tell my kids that they need to work hard and have a passion for what they want to do. Things don’t come easy all the time and it’s determination that keeps you going. My husband and I try to show them by example!

We try and pay it forward as often as we can. We give to local charities and have adopted a family in need at Christmas for the past 3 years.

I try to lead by example and go for my own dreams and goals. I think that is the best way to show your children they can do anything (and it’s okay if they fail because we all do).
